Practical solutions to climate change. Now.
ZERO (Zero Emission Resource Organisation) is a Norwegian environmental foundation, primarily dedicated to developing and promoting solutions to global warming.
Their approach is scientifically founded and aimed towards constructive solutions, both technological and political. They favor dialogue and positive influence over conflict and protests.
With a highly current climate situation, it was time for ZERO to renew their expired identity.
An improved and up-to-date identity was important in order for them to reach out to politicians, business leaders and activists to action. However, their previous identity was hard to maintain, and left little room for creativity.
Based on the existing logo, we updated the colour palette, font, logo and the rest of the visual expression.
The new logo comes in three different colourways, and is part of a user friendly design profile that is easy to use for all employees.
We also designed various materials based on the new identity, such as report templates, presentation templates, etc.
The new colors are energetic and eye-catching, which is something an organization of this type needs, in order to be noticed.
Orange is often associated with meanings of joy, enthusiasm, creativity, encouragement, change, determination and balance. All of these words reflect ZERO and their work.
The imagery is a big part of ZERO's new identity. The motifs are mainly based on nature and today's environment – such as the sea, forest, air, soil, land and buildings.
